Crane Feeds have long been proud partners with Dalein Agriplan and have recently installed a new Dalein MK-3C 20TPH+ capacity batching and mixing plant at their existing feed mill. This plant includes a state of the art automated micro-dosing system, for the dosing of micro’s and minerals into macro feed batches, fully integrated into the main raw material dosing system at the facility. Dalein has also converted their existing MK-2D dosing and mixing plant’s control system to a Batch Explorer based Inteqnion control system to provide a seamless production and automation infrastructure in the mill.


Crane Feeds is a compound feed producer based in Matsapha, Eswatini, specializing in the production of broiler and layer feed rations for both their own farms and local community. They are equipped to produce mash and pelleted products for both the bulk and bagged feed markets.

Equipment Update - Mixing Things Up

Dalein Agriplan has broken the mould of our previous factory designs with the introduction of our new 3Ton (±6,000L) Capacity Twin Shaft Paddle Mixer, the MPT6000H . The mixer is a re-design of our popular 2Ton (±4,000L) variant mixer, the MPT4000H, streamlined and strengthened to withstand the larger loads associated to the larger feed mixing capacity. The mixer drive system consists of a specialized gearbox arrangement, developed in close conjunction with SEW Eurodrive's technical support team to deliver reliable performance results. The mixer is equipped with Dalein's tried and tested pneumatic discharge system, featuring failsafe technology in the form of a mechanical locking element preventing the system from discharging in the possible event of a power outage (an event happening more and more in production these days).
